RULES FOR ENTRY
1: Submissions must arrive before November 11th 2008 and by post ONLY. Email entries not accepted. Late entries will be disqualified.
2: Please ensure that your name, contact details and title/s of your work are on your entry form; or a short covering letter. They must not appear on the same sheet as your poem/s.
3: Poems/verses may be on any theme, as long as they are comic and do not exceed 48 lines.
4: All poems must be in standard black typeface on plain white A4 paper, of which only one side per sheet is used
5: Two copies of each poem must be submitted with the entry form, and/or covering letter.
6: Make cheque/postal order payable to The Inklings and send to the Treasurer, (address on entry form.
7: Special request: Please do not send entries by recorded or special delivery, but make sure of paying the correct postage. Entries with insufficient postage will not be accepted from Royal Mail. Please do not tape up to the point of making the contents impregnable. Email entries will not be accepted.
8: Please Note: If the rules do not state "you can" then you can't!
Winners and runners up will be informed by telephone/post and the results will be posted on The Inklings website.
